Winter 2022 - Looking to the Year Ahead

As I sit typing up this newsletter, it is a chilly 2 degrees outside. We love Wisconsin, but we're looking forward to spring!

I am so excited and delighted to tell you all about what is happening at Susan's Fiber Shop, and some of our upcoming events.

Currently, I am hosting virtual sales 3 times a week, with an occasional pop-up show. You can like our Facebook page and watch/shop these virtual sales, 4-6 pm CST. Just search for Susan's Fiber Shop on Facebook. 

Weekly, I host Teaching Tuesday, where you can learn new techniques and buy the tools to use them, Wacky Wednesday, and see new and one of a kind items, and Frenzy Friday, shop wonderful fibers for spinning and weaving. Follow along and become one of "Susan's Fiber Sharks" today by liking the facebook page and joining the "Susan's Fiber Shop Retreats" group page on facebook also.

AAAAANNNND speaking of retreats! I am so excited to have everyone together again in 2022, March 4th-6th, For Susan's Fiber Comeback Retreat! It will take place at the Comfort Inn and Suites Hotel in DeForest, Wisconsin. You can find all of the details by clicking 2022 Retreat on the main menu, and selecting "more information". There are just a few days left to get YOUR room at an excellent rate of $79 for the weekend. 

I and the team here at Susan's have had a real blast putting this retreat together, and coming up with craft ideas, demos, shopping options, giveaways, and classes for our attendees. You don't want to miss this! Your registration is a very affordable $75 for access to it all! We hope to see you there. 

Here at the shop, Queensland Perth has been restocked and we have some beautiful colors of this fingering weight yarn. We've also gotten in lots of new colorways of Berroco Sesame and Summer Sesame! Perth and Sesame are both listed here on the website, and the Summer Sesame will be listed early next week. 

Coming up on February 1st, we are hosting a sock Knit-Along in our facebook group, Susan's Fiber Shop Retreats. This will be done in sync with Berroco's Sock KAL, going from February 1st to March 1st. If you use Berroco or one of their partner brands yarn (Lang, etc) and use the hashtag #BerrocoSockHop on PUBLIC social media posts (Facebook, Instagram) you will be eligible for prizes from Berroco. Use the Hashtag #Susan'sToastyToesKAL to be eligible for prizes from us! To be eligible for prizes from both, your socks must be cast on on or after February 1st, 2022. On February 1st at 6:30 pm CST, Meredith Muncy will be hosting a sock cast-on party on Zoom. The link will be posted in our facebook group. Berroco is also having KAL Day 1 events, check their social media for more information.

We are also hosting a Weave-A-Long in our Facebook Group from February 1st until March 22nd, 2022. Guidelines- 

Weave a scarf, any size, shape, stitch.

Be Creative - Do what you enjoy.
